Dear colleagues,

As APAMU association's chairman of the board, I am proud to introduce our 4th international conference of emergency medicine in the Pacific, the 19th , 20th and 21th of October 2010 in Tahiti .

The first event took place in 2001 under the strong support of New Caledonia Emergency's ward . With two sequels at this time, it's now an updated event in our field of practice.

About our next 4th edition, we are honored to be under the SFMU's scientific board supervisory control.

Moreover, Doctor Goldstein, head of the regional SAMU department from Lille , pedagogic director of the CHRU Emergency Teaching Center , and president of the French Emergency Medicine Society, has agreed to be the president of the conference

The high level of scientific contributions in our conference is our main goal.

Facing the new challenges of modern Emergency Medicine, as a brand new speciality branch , the Emergency SAMU-SMUR  Pacific's Ward  needs to reach as close as possible the golden rules. Therefore,  organize an important international conference, reaches these expectations : to maintain special relationships with national institutions, to discuss about the last updates of technological innovations and to be recognized in our activities.

All the organization staff board members and myself as chairman of the board wish you a pleasant trip through our web site, where you will find useful information about our association and the conference.
